Meet Robby Asbery
Devout Christian. Thought Leader. Coalition Builder.
Robby Asbery is known for service, integrity, and insight. A local business leader, Robby honed his talent for language and leadership with two Bachelor’s Degrees in Biblical Studies and Philosophy (2013). While working full-time to support his wife and children, he completed Master of Theological Studies (2019) and Master of Divinity (2022) degrees at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Robby found a home for his linguistic talents in 2016 at the Walmart Home Office where he was promoted nine times in six years through roles in communications and marketing. In 2024, he dove into CoreTrex as the leader of a growing sales department and has helped triple company revenues with his high integrity and common sense business leadership.
All of these roles refined Robby’s skills in high-stakes negotiation. He deeply enjoys building real-world solutions that drive growth for businesses and communities. He is a coalition builder, adept at bringing diverse ideas and interests together into powerful strategies. The precision he has learned from theological studies and legal documents is a natural fit for common sense legislation that closes loopholes, advances individual liberties, and preserves county interests.
For thirty years, Robby has been extremely involved in The Church and church leadership. He has spent a decade preaching, leading small groups, directing ministries, and meeting needs wherever he can to serve the community he loves. He has actively chosen career paths and opportunities that put Biblical values over big checks.
Having lost his father and many family members to addiction issues as a child, Robby also understands the incredibly diverse homes and people that need representation at the county level. It is his deep desire to build the Benton County his children and community in 50 years that drove Robby to pursue the office of Justice of the Peace.
"I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man." - George Washington
A Centerton Story
It’s hard to get more local than Robby.
Born in Benton County and raised in Centerton, he remembers before Harps was a twinkle in an excavator’s eye. Raised on Wanda St. and Baptized at First Baptist Church of Centerton, Robby built a reputation early for endless questions and deep faith. It is this faith in Christ that defines Robby’s life and guides all his decisions in the home, office, church, and community. After turning 15, Robby became convicted that he was meant for ministry. He set out from Bentonville High School with 45 hours in AP credits, moved to Missouri for an education in Theology, and married his highschool sweetheart, Lauren. He completed B.A. degrees in Philosophy and Biblical Studies before moving on to complete Master of Theological Studies and Master of Divinity degrees at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He now resides just off Seba with his wife Lauren, two sons Elliot (6) and Theodore (2), and a third son on the way.
After moving back to Arkansas in 2016, Robby began to see his small town in a new light. He understood the same dream for a peaceful and prosperous community that drove his parents to move to Centerton back in 1996. Apparently other people see it too, with Centerton topping the growth charts in Arkansas and coming in at 32nd fastest growing city in the USA! Robby’s chief goal in pursuing office for district 15 is to represent the needs of the neighbors he has known for three decades. Robby has seen Centerton and Benton County transform from local apple and cattle towns to international powerhouses. He understands uniquely what is needed to strengthen Benton County for the next fifty years of prosperity and beyond. That means keeping taxes low, safety high, and guarding individual liberties to empower the families and entrepreneurs that are the backbone of Benton County.
Outside of the office or the study, Robby spends serious time on bikes with his boys at the great trails and parks around Centerton and NWA. He is an avid reader and reads daily to his wife and sons, practicing a wide variety of corny accents. His friends would describe him as a man of high character with a deep love for his family and a deeper love for Christ.
